Our hope is that as you look around these web pages you will get to know us, just a little bit and and begin to understand our passion for the kingdom of God in Bidford-on-Avon and the surrounding area. It goes without saying that, as Christians, we believe wholeheartedly in Jesus and seek to place Him at the centre of everything we do.

For us “church” is the community of believers who live out their faith day by day in the places, they live, work and rest. As a body of believers, Bidford-on-Avon Baptist Church has its roots in the Christian community that has been present in the village for generations. There is nothing new about believing in Jesus!

In 2004 God called a group of us who were worshiping at Chipping Campden Baptist Church to set up a new congregation and plant Bidford-on-Avon Baptist Church. Since 2005 we have met in the Crawford Memorial Hall every Sunday morning and through God’s provision grown to become a thriving part of village life. Our testimony is that God has blessed us enormously. In the way he has resourced us and equipped us He has exceeded all our expectations.

So what are we like........

We are a lively and growing congregation. We love to worship God through contemporary worship songs led by our able musicians; we expect to hear God’s voice through teaching from the Bible as well as through prophesy and testimony. We welcome the Holy Spirit into our presence and look to Him to guide us.

Our services are relaxed with a family atmosphere. Every week is different, we celebrate communion, our children share what they have been doing, and we experiment with different styles of service, Cafe Church is a favourite! Our services generally last about an hour and a half.

Children and Young People are really important to us. They are the church of today and tomorrow and we can learn so much about God from them. Have a look at their pages to see what they get up to.

Looking to the future, our heart is for a closer walk with God. We expect Him to continue to bless us as we share our lives together as the family of God. We believe that our congregation will continue to grow and we expect this to happen as we reach out into the community and get to know those who have yet to recognise Jesus’ promise that he came to bring life and life in all it’s fullness.
